Privacy at Receipts First

This page explains what we collect when you visit receiptsfirst.show, apply to be a guest, or let us publish to YouTube. We keep it short. We don't sell your data.
When you visit the site
We use two analytics tools to count visits and see which pages people read:
- Clicky: records the pages you view, links you click, the page you came from, your browser, screen size, language and IP address.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: records page views and load times. Cloudflare says it doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.
Clicky also sets a cookie to recognize you when you come back. It keeps visit details for at least 6 months and daily totals for at least 4 years.
We use these numbers to make the show better. We don't use them for ads.
When you apply to be a guest
The form on /apply/ asks for:
- your name and email
- your business name and website
- your city and state
- your type of service, if you choose one
We keep these details only to consider you as a guest and contact you about the show. They go to a private Google Sheet owned by Michael.
We don't share them or add you to a mailing list. To have them deleted, email guests@receiptsfirst.show.
Our newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, Kit stores your email address so we can send it, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
YouTube
We use the YouTube API Services to upload our own episodes to the Receipts First YouTube channel. The app only acts on our own channel. It doesn't read or store anything about you.
When you watch our videos, YouTube's rules apply:
To remove our app's access to a Google account, go to your Google security settings.
